When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered
which is the freshest, so you "squeeze" for freshness or softness. Did
you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week?
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Each day has a different color twist tie. They are:

Monday - Blue
Tuesday - Green
Thursday - Red
Friday - White
Saturday - Yellow

Shocked

Well over here in the UK it aint like that so we don't get different color twists Sad
I just have yellow ones all the time. This is because in the UK most shops bake their own bread every day so it is always fresh!!

Here in Holland, if those ties are what I think they are, they are always red. Which means either we have old bread five days a week, or the system doesn't apply here. Razz

What does your source say about transparant ties? Or white plastic clips?
