I pressed some button combo or something and the X Y Z arrows are just arrows that can't be highlighted over. Now to move objects on the x y or z axis I have to click X Y or Z on the toolbar. I know i pressed F2 accidentally instead of 2 but i pressed F2 again and nothing changed.

right click and hit move. If that doesnt work press every button on your keyboard and find out what the outcome is. If its good keep it , ifs its bad press that button again to disable it.
