I agree that you shouldn't say "omg it works 100% it's impossible to bypass"... but you shouldn't go around saying that it sucks because "maybe someone could pass it"... If you tell us about an exploit we fix it. Every single time.
Most of these fixes are unseen by you because most of the security of the app is on the master servers. The most recent exploit we heard about was quickly traced to a bug in the master server code. It was fixed, the network was upgraded, problem solved.
I'm the bawss.

Yeah, it's annoying when you join a server and you get paged "I recognise you are running renguard, this will prove to any mods that you are not cheating if the need arises". It shouldn't be a means of proving, it should only be a means of "most likely, he/she isn't cheating, but you can't be certain." The general idea behind renguard would be better understood if people thought of renguard as more of a "shield" which can be broken a small amount of the time.

It cuts down because you know there will be a lot less people able to bypass the system, so you can take a seat back if someone pages you about another player cheating. But, if several people complain about that person, check.
I don't like the fact that renguard "does" allow people (that know how to bypass it) a means to cheat carefree and fearless. If people have this mentality that "renguard means he can't be cheating" that will only allow the cheating even more. Punkbuster has never been perfect in its design, and no-one thinks that way. If they thought the same about renguard, we'd have even better guarded servers.
