Uhhhh did you mean renguard doesn't work or editing game.exe doesn't work? I'm assuming you meant editing game.exe doesn't work.

BTW, I feel honored that the great Crimson has posted in my thread. Razz

If RG allowed modified game2.exe's, it would defeat it's purpose.

But what if the RG game.exe was modified?

Not only is it prevented, but we log the attempt and if we see you trying it a lot, you'll be banned from the network.

So in other words... if you piss off crimson or some other member of the team for some other reason even if it isnt cheating you might find yaself "BANNED" from "THEIR" network.

NOT a good idea cuz as usual it gives team members the power to ban at will.. which is never good.

I mean.. I wouldnt say this if certain people didnt have a rep for bannin people just cuz u dont agree with them...

WTF? I have disclosed ALL global network bans to all server owners and no one has a problem with us banning the two people who have been caught dozens of times trying to access RenGuard with an altered .exe.

Quit the conspiracy theories or get the hell out of here. That's not a request.

Wrong. It has nothing to do with pissing anyone off. If you hack the RenGuard network you will be banned, in some cases automatically by software routines that detect flood attempts and other attacks. I can assure you that could could "piss off" any of the RG staff and it would not result in a ban. We take RG very seriously (as evidenced by us forming a legal, registered corporation - BHS) and follow a strict code of conduct for such things.

I'm a good example. In the past, I've pissed off several members of the Renguard team. Did I see a ban? Nope.

Thank you BLAZE for YOUR complete and MATURE answer. As usual I see a certain other person THREATON me like she does to anyone who says ANYTHING she doesnt agree with instead of a mature answer like blaze she threatons a BAN.. point PROVEN. I was just making a clear and honest statement and wanted a clear and honest answer. Yes she answered my question but also threatoned to ban me from the forums (i think) when all she had to do was simply say "No we dont ban for any attitude issues or anything like that" but nope.. we have to threaton and be ignorant. Again... thank you for proving my point. Also I didnt say that crimson hid anything at all.. nor did I say that anyone was banned from the network for any reason other then what was needed. I just pointed out that theres a history of banning people just cuz she doesnt agree with their opinion or doesnt like their question or 4 whatever reason.. and I was making a valid point and just wanted a simple yes or no... funny how some people just go off for no reason.
