Iraq has on the whole cooperated rather well so far with UNMOVIC in this field. The most important point to make is that access has been provided to all sites we have wanted to inspect and with one exception it has been prompt. We have further had great help in building up the infrastructure of our office in Baghdad and the field office in Mosul. Arrangements and services for our plane and our helicopters have been good. The environment has been workable.

I guess I shouldn't be surpised, the UN isn't very apt when it comes to learning leasons. You dont let 'the enemy' build your CENTRAL COMMAND & FIELDOFFICE. :rolleyes:

Really now lets not play into his hand toooo much, dont lean toooo far over Saddam may see your cards, ah but what the fuck he's a good natured guy - he wouldn't do some shit like that... :rolleyes: Was the entire UN Inspection team asleep during the 50's when the USA let the Solviets build their Embassy there, -bugs everywhere-. Makes it much less of a *shock* that they didn't discover much when out 'inspecting'. There is a very important aspect of inspections...the element of SURPRISE.
