OK my friend is having trouble installing the 1.037 patch. It just sits there. It doesn't start, it just sits there. He has tried just waiting for it and restarting his computer. We can't think of anything that could get it to work. So can some1 here help?

You can try getting your friend to download the patch from WS FTP, then installing it manually (this is presuming he's trying to download it from inside the game).

If you're using the auto-download on Renegade, it will probably freeze at the end of the download. This is normal. Hit back, then hit advanced game listings again. Say yes to the patch prompt again. It'll come up and go immediately to the end, then say it'll restart to update its-self.
