nur mal so ne frage: wieso wurde ich durch renguard gebannt? ich find das jetzt echt nicht mehr witzig! erst zwingt renguard alle renegade spieler, gegen die eula zu verstoßen [z.b. durch veränderungen an der game.exe ohne genehmigung von ea/westwood], jetzt verhindert renguard, das ich auf meinen eigenen server joinen kann, weil mir der zugang zu renguard verwehrt wird. SO GEHTS NICHT! ich sag das in aller klarheit. wird der ban nicht gelöscht, gehts vor gericht. Mad

TRANSLATION (courtesy of MaxPepper): Just a short question, why have I been banned by RenGuard? I don't think it's funny anymore! At first, RenGuard forces all Renegade players to infringe on the EULA [e.g. by modifying the game.exe without authorization by ea/westwood]. Now RenGuard prevents me from joining my own server because I am not approved for accessing RenGuard. THIS IS NOT THE WAY! LOL - he joined a server with the name "I can bypass RenGuard" in German and wonders why we ban him? LOL!

Once he shows us how to bypasses it, he can be unbanned.

wieso bin ich denn gebanned wegen Yambalia oder so ? Erstens weiß ich gar nicht warum und dann muß ich mal anmerken das ich rest der message nicht lesen kann im Fenster da kein "Zeilenumbruch" stattfindet Laughing

komisch ist nur warum ich gebanned werde wenn ich gar nicht auf dem server bin ? Das versteh ich nicht ! Und warum ist der gast gebanned obwohl er gar nicht als Mytosumi spielt (denk ich jedenfalls) denn das ist mein Nic ! Und wieso sagst du dann nicht einfach das du mal mit mir sprechen möchtest Mac ? Ich denke das wäre der anständigere Weg als einfach wild rum zu bannen , oder ?

solltest du noch mit mir reden wollen meld dich per mail oder sonstwas , werd mir nicht den IRC installieren weil du mit mir quasseln willst Smile

I just find it curious why I get banned even though I did not play on the server? I don't understand it! And why does the guest get banned even though he does not play as Mytosumi (at least that is what I think), because it is my NIC! And why don't you simply say that you want to talk to me, Mac ? I think this would be the more appropriate manner rather than randomly banning, don't you think?

If you still want to talk to me, e-mail me or contact me in a different way. I won't install IRC just because you want to chat with me. Smile

)

I actually was rather looking forward to seeing the correspondence of his lawyer. Oh well ...

Resolved.

Turns out he just thought it was funny to choose an nick like this. Unfortnatually, we got his brother too because they are sharing the same serial.

Removed the ban, talked to both of them.
