I'll repeat to you what I said on the RenAlert forums:
You should not only pay attention to the headlines of the story of the article you intend to view but also the source of the article itself. Have you seen the homepages of either of those websites? That aztlan.com one has an Israeli flag with a swastika in place of the Star of David with a link to a picture of a Palestinian with half his head blown off and a link to a petition to stop US military aid to Israel. Take a look at that and tell me that's an objective view of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The entire site is filled with stuff like that. Here's another article of interest on that website. The author says "Pat Tillman got what was coming to him." For those who don't know, Pat Tillman was an Army Ranger who turned down a $3.6 million contract to play football for the Arizona Cardinals to go fight in Afghanistan. The rense.com website is so vehemently anti-Bush that it'd be hard to take anything that it says on that website seriously. If there is any truth on either of those websites, it's buried beneath so much anti-Bush, anti-America, anti-Israel bullshit that it'd be hard to actually find any, which would mean both websites are heavily biased (they, quite obviously, are HEAVILY biased).
There are a lot of websites that publish bullshit propaganda and call it "news" and say they have evidence to back every little bit of bullshit up. Stick with the more bona fide sources like Fox News or even CNN would better than that shit.

I must admit the "evidence" shown in some of those still frames is compelling, but it doesn't make sense that the video would be faked, with an american(s) standing by.

Have you seen the sources of that "news?"
Here's something to think about: the Nazis "proved" that Germans were superior to Jews in every way possible and had "evidence" to support it all. They conducted "scientific" experiments that were set up in such a way that their expected outcome would always result. For example, they'd ask non-german speaking Jews questions in German and ask the same questions of a German. Naturally, the non-german speaking Jew wouldn't get one question right (since he doesn't know what the hell the question is), but the German would always get every single question right. This "evidence" proved that Germans were superior to Jews. (Of course, none of these experiments would ever be accepted by anyone in the scientific community since they were set up to produce a particular outcome each time and were essentially crap)
Now, the purpose of all that was to prove you can set out to prove something is correct and come up with as much "evidence" as you want to prove that point, no matter how outrageous it is. That website is obviously vehemently against the war in Iraq and against Israel and doesn't even TRY for objectivity in reporting, so it came up with a bunch of "evidence" to "prove" that video is a fake so it will hurt George W. Bush.
On a semi-related note: most reliable news sources will at least quote an interviewee about a particular issue, such as an expert in the area of the subject the story is about, in this case it'd be someone who studies videos to looks for authenticity (you know, the guys who examine the Bin Laden tapes and such and test for authenticity (don't know the name of the profession)). Notice that no where in that entire article is there even one quotation of an expert to comment on that story, so the entire article is the word of Hector Carreon, whoever the hell that guy is.
