Hi,
I'm using Game URL Starter to create a link from a website to launch into a Renguard Server, however when i click the link, the Renguard Application opens, it launches the game and then it kicks saying you need Renguard.
Any Ideas how this can be fixed, not really that important, but am curious to see if i can get the link on our site to launch Renegade properly.
http://callofduty.org.uk/GameStarter.rar = Link for launcher
renegade://80.68.47.69:4848/ = Link to server once launcher installed.
Thanks for any assistance.
Van

What username does RenGuard welcome you as? That has to match what you are in the game with.

Whatever program you're using isn't sending your name to RenGuard correctly.

i guess that is because it is a website launcher, so no name is entered, until u get into renegade, so this would require that program that launches to have a username field or something?

Yeah, GameSpy and ASE send the username in the request. That's how we know who you are on the network.
