Just wondering here - what happens when renegade online support is cut off, the whole multiplayer and everything, what then? Its probably not gonna be very far away, since its eatin up ea's money and thay aint gettin it back in. Surely theres a way to get the rights or just plain decompile the source to change servers, and the larger sites and clans could pitch in to help host the main server(s) or what? are we left to find another game? some food for thought here...

Gamespy...they IF that goes down (which I know it won't) or if you have to play on something similar to WOL, theres XWIS and REOL.

If WOL goes down I'm gonna find another game to play. I absolutely can't stand GameStupid and all the crap it loads on to your system.

Sheesh... why do you people act like you're passing a kidney stone everytime you hear about GameSpy? It's not that bad. I use it all the time when I play Medal of Honor. It's really not that bad.
