i don't really pay attention to the damned Ranking system, it never updates my score, so i say F*ck it.

that guys wants to know how the ranking system works, then tell hi how it works. I thought u guys here on this forum were pro's but the answers that u give people are sometimes just to stupid.
The ranks get resestted after every month. Check ur rank when a new month starts and u will see that u have no rank yet but there is a score which sais 10000. When u go in a game and win, behind ur name at the end there is a score for example +128
Now u quit renegade and u after a half our or something u go check again, u log in (go to the advanced game listing, and press esc to go back to ur rank) and now the score will be: 10128.
The ranking systems checks every score of eacht player and bases his rank on it. The player with the highest score will have rank 1, the player with the second higest score will have rank 2 etc etc. Wins or losses have nothing to do with your rank, well, maybe it matters when players both have the same score.
The thing that sucks in this ranking system is, is that you have to play on 30-60 player servers to get points. So high ranked players are mostly just point wh0res. I only play in small servers because in big servers you are just pounding at buildings for 30 minutes and there is no strategy at all. No sneaking in the enemy base because with 60 players they will ALWAYS spot you. when u win u should get 100 points, in every game from 6 players total to 127 players total. 4 players total would be to easy to get dummy accounts and play against yourself.

Ok, yah, all right. First of all, the person asked why after winning 6 games, and losing 1 how they could have a lower score, I explained it to them, they understood, it was over...
More then 15 days later, you come up, telling us that we don't know what we are talking about, then write a big paragraph about something that does not answer the persons question. Start bitching about the ranking system, and so on and so forth.
Why?
What was the point?
Do you feel special now? Because you helped out a person (who was happy with their answer) while all the other "pro's" could not? (Even though they did?)

SencneS that sucks bad, how boring is that, you can't even fight vs others i rather fight and having fun and have less points, then that i do absolutely nothing and having much points, i don't like that at all

The guys before me were all guessing how it could be and offering suggestions that u didn't even knew for sure. I explained him the whole ranking system so he can see for himself why that is possible.
