Funny how people keep annnouncing these big mods and they just fall threw.... Anyone else thinking of starting a mod, if it has to do with any registered trademark of anything that is copyrighted that is not owned by the company in question which game you are modding for (EA) then you will have your ass sued back to the stone age if you try to publish it.

So to recap:

1) Your mod will not get of the ground
2) To make a TC you need a LOT of commitment
3) You need a lot of people
4) You need a lot of skilled people in modelling and coding, most of who are tied up in other much more....organised projects.

Its been said before and i dont like dashing peoples dreams but please just give up, trying to keep this going is futile at best.

From browsing through the site it looks like they have put in some effort, enough to model some characters and weapons. It doesn't look like it will be finished anytime soon but they seem very interested in the project, so perhaps they will finish it.

Thanks for the support, blazer. And snipefrag, you're a bit late. We're already 95% finished with the mod. All that remains to be done is textures for a few weapons, and building setup. And about us getting "sued back to the stone age," first of all we're non-profit, so there is no grounds for suing. Second of all, we already have explicit permission from lucasarts to replicate characters and vehicles featured in their movies.

I think the first beta will be realed around this summer. I dont know wether its a beta or the final release. If you browes the site and loko at the pics you cna see this mod is worth watching. Smile
