Hi all I am still having the crash error in 1.02
I have determined the following
-All who are experiencing the error are xp/2000 or some system built on nt users
-(FOR 1.02) clicking on disable advance text services AND/OR run in 256 color mode will resuklt in no crash (256 color mode makes screen wierd no advanced visual gice u the game option to play but no html page)
-From who I asked (7 people) 6 were using an ATI video card
-Everyone is using dx 9.A or DX 9.B
-Crash file is NTDLL.DLL (Location varies by version number and os)
Notes:
Try to turn off the advanced text first then if not try colors and finally both, it worked for me (you will see no page just the you've connected mnesage then hit renegade and play as normal)
Someone plz sticky this or confirm it
@Mac or other admins hanging in rg_support on irc @ n00bstories if any1 needs me

We have a new testbuild for all people that have this crashing problem 1.02. I hope it works for all cases, so we can make it official.

My 1.01 Crashed by showing the screen for like 3 secOnds then disapearing along with the icon [the screen was just a white box]. MY 1.02 crashed by loading it, saying on the white screen and continuously loading........ I can stil run renegade but rengaurd crashes at any random time.
I put my compatability to whatever u guys told me, and it fixed the crashing but put all the text in a messed up box in the grey dialog rectangle...
