The official report on the matter is that it was a "Surgical strike" on a "target of opportunity". It was carried out by 3 dozen cruse missiles and I beleive it was 4? Bunker busters dropped from F-117s. The attack was performed simultaneously with the bombers arriving around a minute after the missiles struck. The missiles were launched from ships in both the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf.

From what I currently understand one of these targets was a structure were senior Iraqi military types were 'bedding down' for the night. Hope we got who we wanted.

What you got are a couple of radio stations.
Why do you refer to the USA always as we? As if you had ANYTHING to do with that bombing.

Attacks of this nature really are futile...I heard it while I was @ work fielding technical support phone calls for DSL serivce. One of the manager founds it important enough to stand up and yell to the call center that Baghdad was being bombed. I thanked him later since it's important news I wouldn't of learned otherwise for some time. To your seconds point I ask...can you be for real ? Should I refer to American actions as a seperate entity from myself such as.."America is currently bombing Iraq". Using we in reference to the country one resides falls into the catagory of commonly accpeted use of contexes. Especially considering the fact that my moral/ethical & geopolitical views align with the current action that is taking place.
