hi all, i recently bought renegade off ebay, im running it on XP home with 56k modem if any of that helps.
my prob is that i want to create on WOL but when i click new account i get the message "page failed to load or is invalid".
any help? i can give more info +specs and stuff if you need but i can't see how my specs could make the page fail to load.

I checked in the Renegade folder and clicked the register icon in there and it does indeed say that the renegade registration something or other servers are down for maintenence, does anybody have a clue as to when they'll be up again?
I'm getting really bored of doing the multiplayer practice, you cant change ANY options OR choose a map, how crap is that? are there any utilities that can change the map etc.?

Then Registration IS down, the CD Key won't be blocked... I have the same problem but luckily for me I already have sveral accounts.
IF however  you go to the Gamespy section, you will be able to play on there.... No problems there atm for registration etc...

Yeah, i managed to get an account on gamespy but i didnt know you could get one for free, i mean "join now for free" is hardly plastered over the gamespy website, i had to wiggle my way round and finally found a way to register for free.
Anyway i have been having a few probs on gamespy, now i dont know is it is lag/ping, renguard, renegade, a hack or gamespy itself but my controls have been going mental, i press D (right) for instance and my character moves but as soon as i stop he/she goes back to where he/she was then i have to move again, when i try to move straight about 10 secs earlier i pressed right to go round an object yet it decides to repeat that right turn. any help/reson as to why this is? im confused, my main suspect is lag though. (lag grrr, dont you just hate it with a vengence :twisted: )

thats very kind of you almor but i don't want to be a pain. thanks anyway though.
drkhaze i tryed the register link but i get the same message as when i click the register icon in the renegade folder.
