I don't feel like getting into a political debate with that one, however...You don't like me. Makes sense to call me nasty names. So by doing that, you're showing that you think being gay is a bad thing, and that I'm deserving of the title. So you are in fact a bigot, and it wouldn't be any different for any other derogatory remark about gender/race/religion/sexual orientation, etc.
