@Drkpwn3r: thanks, I know of that mistake. No, I did not change the username. Same with my teammates, because we always play with our clan account.

Run game2.exe.

Nobody is forcing you to use it.

I posted my thoughts because this is what I belive to be the best solution. I belive other people will follow my route as well, especially gsa servers.

cwayze, there was never an issue of force, renguard was always an option. even you yourself aren't running it

I use the client because of the auto brenbot authentication.

i know that...but he makes it seem like he has to use it and he's going against the grain by denying the program.

ALL Renegade servers need it, undedicated I don't mind, dedicated NEEDS RenGuard, I won't play on ANY server without RenGuard anymore. For me, no RG = no play. As for GSA, I NEVER play on it unless WOL is down for more than 2 days

You're still a mindless sheep over a BC, you know. One way or the other you can't really deny that you're following someone else in an effort to get away from Crimson.

so putting faith into something/someone is being a mindless sheep?

so if we all see a chair and believe that if we sit in it, it won't break...that makes us blind sheep?
if we have religious beliefs, does that make us blind sheep?
if we have respect for our president/leader, does that make us blind sheep?

Just because someone says something against a trusted source, it doesn't all of a sudden make the followers blind sheep.

Agreed. Which why I propose de-centralization from renguard network, and giving the control back to servers owners.

about the kicking people who have it the thing is its they launched the game before they were fully connected to renguard just go options and select launch automatically once its connected. Thats all it is they clicked the renegade button before it finished the connecting. Oh and yes there was a real easy way around renguard but i told em how i did it and they fixed it in matter of minutes. theres still some that people have made that can get by if u know any of em tell the renguard crew so they can fix it.

What makes the source trusted in the first place? As the "self-apponted PR" of RG, Cramson sure seems very trustworthy  ...Anything else to base trust on?

I love how mature this place is, when you can't make a point you resort to making an exaggerated mockery of what I say in "n00bspeak" or whatever the fuck it is.

her dedication to the game, i dunno, that could be one little thing.

she's been here since the beginning and has spent her time and energy to host these forums and n00bstories.com.

she's spent her own money to help support projects and etc... and she's never let us down.

n00bish behavior deserves n00bish flaming. If you don't like it, go have relations with Alkaline.

RenAlert sucks. Now go on one of your egotistical rampages and stay out of the way.

Ah yes, the homosexuality comments come next. I can't help but think that you all call people "fags" and other related names because you haven't quite hit puberty and are insecure of your own sexuality...
