Uninstalling RG if you need to:

Delete "Game.exe"
Delete "htmllayout.dll"
Rename "Game2.exe" to "Game.exe"

Ok i did ur way and when i click renegade the renguard1.00 pops up and then it stays in a gray and white window so it practically does nothing i cant minimize it or X it out to close it......i installed the patches which rengade makes u install be4 signing on ur screen name<<<<that might be the problem but ne way Confused

.... when i press ctrl + alt + delete(b/c that is all i can do) it says next to Renguard 1.00 [Not Responding]....HELP Question

Let it sit for a few mins, if it stays that way then just press Ctrl+Alt+Del and go into processes, end game.exe and then re-run RenGuard, it should work the 2nd or 3rd time Very Happy

this means you are on a Windows ME or somthing simalar, the screen you see acts as your "processes" tab

Then reinstall Renegade again and update the game to version 1.037 then copy your maps and sounds back to your Renegade\Data folder.

as i found out the WTF way the day when renguard needs to update it will (if ur playin ren) close ren, and say in the box at the bottom of the RG window that corrupted file game.exe has been found.
simply restart RG, it will auto update and all will be fine, i paniced for a few moments when it happened to me but then all was well Wink

hey all, im new here, So Zunnie, i did all you said i had to do i had renguard, but when i open Renegade renguard opens himself, whats normal, but than renguard gets stuck, i downloaded it from a couple of other places, but everytime it gets stuck, so if you know how it comes or what i can do about let me know.
