I know this is off topic, but what are your thoughts on it? I see both sides of the argument, but not sure which one I agree with.
I used to download music, like one or two songs from a particular artist to see if I like the song and whatnot and to see if I wanted to buy the cd, but now Im afraid to because of this RIAA or whatever they are. Do you all still download? If so off what,I used to use KazaaLite? Ive been told they only come after you when you download about a 1000 songs a month, I find that kind of far fetched, I always thought even if you downloaded one you could get busted. Ahh, im so confused!

I usually download the full album off IRC. If I like it I buy it, if not I delete it. Software is another story though.

I download occasionally. I disable upload and I have a router so RIAA bastards can't catch me easily.
But In a month or two, I download like 2-3 songs. Not much at all.
If I listened to music much more than I do now, I'd sign up for those "$1/song" deals on the internet.
As for software, I download it and I try it. If I like it (and am going to use it often) I'll buy it. Well thats if it is affordable.
