when i uninstalled it i got this error when starting renegade.
Unexpected error resolving imports the loading process will be terminated.
this is a major thing it could cause major trouble
I see dumb people.

i had to reinstall renegade to be able to play it with out renegade... guyz i know we wanted it out soon but from what i have seen it needed at least three more months of testing certain things such as ctf scripts and the w3d files...you jumped the gun and it shot us innocent players instead of the cheaters
I see dumb people.

I got the same problem. RenGuard doesn't uninstall well, to fix the uninstall you don't need to reinstall renegade just go in to renegade folder and delete game.exe and then rename game2.exe to game.exe and renegade should work.
ss of RenGuard error (after uninstalling it)
Backround info:
OS=Win 98SE
Renegade install folder = C:\renegade
RenGuard install folder = C:\renegade

have no fear i beat renguard. anyway you remove it first (i got that error too) all you have to do is go to renegade folder delete game.exe and rename game2.exe to game.exe READ THIS CAREFULLY DO NOT DELETE GAME2.EXE now heres an explanation of what it does (taking this from myself in irc)
<RaPtER_PWNED_RENGUARD> so anyway all renguard does is change your game.exe to game2.exe and make itself the game.exe so when you click on your shortcut it auto runs the game.exe which is really ren*****
<RaPtER_PWNED_RENGUARD> so delete game.exe and rename game2.exe to game.exe and make sure theres no more ren***** files on there and your set
well reply if i have saved your day and made how renguard installs itself more easily understood
btw could you tell it was getting me aggravated when i was talking on irc?

and some mod can you make this an announcement on how to get rid of it that would be a good idea for these people who aren't computer smart and or don't like going around trying to find out how to delete this renguard.

I need help downloaded renguard, then renegade wouldnt start, uninstalled renguard, renegade still wouldn't start, uninstalled renegade tryed to reinstall won't reinstall? keep geting performed illigal error? this really sucks now i can't play renegade at all thanks for the renguard!!!!!!
