It appears that with renguard running my mouse speed both in game and alt-tabbed out of game is increased about 400% does anyone else suffer from this?

Logitech mouse? If so, try downloading the latest mouse drivers.. Some of the older ones didn't detect games run outside of explorer (ie: Renegade run via RenGuard). Same might go for some other mice.
I know, because I use a logitech mouse, and had it happen with some other software.. latest drivers fixed it though.

Thanks,
Voodoo I do have a Logitech Mouse and I haven't updated my drivers in about 6 months. I will see if there are new drivers out and install them. Hopefully that will solve the problem.
Many Thanks,
Wee

Unfortunately updating my Logitech drivers to the latest version has not resolved this issue.
Plesae if anyone knows of a wasy to fix my mouse speeds being drastically increased in game when running renguard I would really appreciate it.
Things I have tried and have failed to fix this problem:
1. Lowering mouse speed in game, via the options.
2. Turning off all mouse acceleration via mouse options in control panel.
3. Turning down mouse speed via mouse options in control panel.
I really can't play renegade with the mouse being so sensitive and with many servers now running renguard I dont want to have to stop playing ren because I can't get used to my bloody mouse

I don't know if this will help but press Esc in-game and go to Controls and take the mouse sensitivity down to however much suits your taste?

Logitech has a program called "Advanced Settings Utility" for their mice. This program detects if a game is running and let's you choose options like "keep mouse speed", "keep button configuration" etc for a game. This might help.
Just seach for "Advanced Settings Utility" in the Logitech pages.
