I heard the controversy over the closing of Westwood caused him to resign because EA wants to reopen it and continue the C&C series properly.

It's only a rumor...But I doubt that the guys at Petroglyph would like to work for EA once again after that...You'd probably only see the shit heads who made Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge and Generals (formerly known as EA Pacific). If Westwood comes back, it would certainly be diferent, probably some kind of New EALA.

I suck cock and love it... absolutely love it. And I just got banned for being too immature to be allowed to post here.

I don't necessarily know if I'd want EA to open WS up again and continue the C&C Series. I love the C&C Series, but I don't know if the chances of having a flop are worth the risk.

whoa.

Maybe this will stop EA's monopoly and it would be easier to open a gaming company.

They don't have a monopoly, why? Because they don't control 100% of the market. Microsoft on the other hand, is a different story.

We have laws in America that prevent large companies like EA from becoming a monopoly. EA is nothing but a large company.

Yeah, we have laws, but companies also have money, and people like money.

And judges = people.

Not that I'm suggesting that Microsoft got off from being disbanded because they were shown to have a monopoly, apealed, and then paid off another judge to let them go. Nothing like that at all.

But I don't think EA has a monopoly. There are a ton of other game companies out there, like Blizzard and Ubi Soft, which continually churn out good content.

Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

I know Bullshit when I see it.

Westwood will NOT be back. Dead. Finito. Morte. Muerte. Disco.

See Petroglyph games for any hope of continuance of this series.

Well, it all makes sense...

Sara Lee makes mass-produced food that people eat up without wondering what goes into it...

EA makes mass-produced GAMES that people eat up without wondering what goes into them!

Of those choices, I think that you should definitely be a helicopter pilot.

I don't know what all the fuss about Petroglyph is. Sure, former WW members joined it, but that doesn't mean that they are going to make another C&C game.

Move on...
