Ok I bet you have been wanting to run a server for ages now but just cant find a valid serail. Well I have a few serails that I am not using so I thought hay I may as well swap them for a Renegade serail.
So what I am trying to say is if you have an extra Renegade Game serail I am willing to give you a FDS serail in return.

lol the FDS serial is something people get for free, while the game serial will cost people money. I woudn't make that sort of trade.
game costs less then $10 if you can find it, get off your arse and go buy a few. then give your fds serials for free lol

Yea it is you are not paying so it is free. If you have an extra serail that you are not using then you are wasting it anyway so it is free.

No... If the person is not using the serial, and then trade that unused serial for a FDS serial it would be... a TRADE. Not free. Doesn't matter anyway, like I said before, no one will go for it. If you were actually trying to help Renegade out instead of get something for nothing, you might have some takers. Just give the FDS serials for NOTHING, you'll see more servers.

Yes you can, if you bitch and moan at EA long enough they will give you one. I gave mine away to crimson for free. Infact, I have never seen anyone get anything in return for giveing away a Serial. Further more, its probaly illigal to do som, because you are profiting off of something someone else owns the rights too.

I read in a thread that someone had bugged ea till they went to the server and sent them a serial. But okay... whatever.
Yes, you are absolutly correct, profit is when you get more for something then you paid for it yourself.
How much did you pay for those fds serial? Nothing correct?
How much do you pay for a Game serial? I payed about $50 for mine. Corse now its only worth about $10. Okay so, you give me something worth $0, I give you something worth $10. For you, thats a $10 profit...

Actually, Profiting is getting more than you BOUGHT it for. When Cpo64 says you are profiting by receiving Game Serials (that someone else bought) in return for something you paid nothing for, that is a profit. You are getting something for nothing, which is considered a profit. Just because the server that you were able to register FDS serials from is not working anymore, doesn't mean you need to charge for them (even if it's not monetary). It just means those who want them have to receive them from another source. Of course, they *could* pay for them if they believed it was a just deal, but most would not. Since they were FREE (there is that word again) to begin with, they should remain FREE. Besides, what would having more GAME serials do to benefit you? Other than giving them to those who didn't obtain the game by legal means. I guess we could chalk this up as another reason why you won't receive a GAME serial here... Since it would most likely go to support warez, which isn't supported in these forums. Besides, you shouldn't need any more serials, since you say you have so many:

WTF it took me one ea tech email and three days to get an fds serial. :rolleyes: It cost me $20 to get a renegade serial......
