You dont have to pay anymore to get these to GREAT programs professinal versions. Here is what lion said,

(thanks Benlanka) For those of you who still play the original Red Alert and Tiberian Sun, and are into editing the game, Steve Childs, head of prestigious Childs Play Software, the developers of RedEdit 98 & SunEdit 2K have announced they are offering the Professional editions of these two editing programs for FREE. They are closing up shop for good, and giving away these programs as their way of thanking the community and saying farewell. There's also some other goodies for download, so if ya want anything, go get it whilst the gettin is good. Head HERE for the downloads and Steve's goodbye.
