Nope, not at all. Do you have problems researching why I do certain things before commenting about them? Probably not.

Genocide has a history of promising all these great things for Renegade. Then "something" happens, and it always dies off. He had something like eight levels he wanted to release, where are they? What about the WWII conversion? Oh, "hard drive failure," right... Don't keep backups of your own goddamn work? Or just an easy excuse to get out of something that's above your head?

All sorts of shit... I can't remember the details. I'm sure running a search on Genocide's name through the mod forum would help.

ACK, I'm fully aware what happened with the Warpath mod... however, unless you can prove otherwise the majority of the people on this forum are going to assume he's telling the truth about the hard drive failure.

I don't care to prove it. I know what he's said he'd do and nothing has come of it. Eventually he'll dig himself a nice hole and probably never come out of it.

Like the time he faked his death. That was real smart.

We publically apoligized for that and even released a new patch the next day, if I remember correctly.

I can't see where pulling a half-assed prank on the community to drum up support for the 9915 patch and faking a death can honestly correlate together.

That's like saying "A rifle has destructive power comparable to that of a thermonuclear warhead."

Doesn't excuse his actions, lies, and whatever else he'll do in the future be it negative.

They're similar because they were both lies. I'm not excusing Genocide's actions, simply stating you need to be open to other mods besides your own in the Renegade community.

We never faked stopping RenAlert, get your fucking facts straight. Ack decided one day for one reason or another to stop working on the mod, he announced that the mod would be stopped, the next day after talking to other team members this time, he reconsidered, and tried to cover it up by saying it was a joke to get attention for the next patch. (Dante even replied to the thread on this forum that Ack announced it in and said that it wasn't a joke.)

FFS, then ACK should have used common sense and simply stated the truth. But no, he had to go and create a big ole' scene that made the mod team look VERY unprofessional.

I'm only human, I claim to be nothing more than that. I am prone to making mistakes and already admitted to it earlier in this thread.

Just curious as to how you can take sides and attempt bashing me while praising Genocide, who's been proven to lie and deceive for a very long time.

Sort of like Reborn.

I still fail to see where I "praise" Genocide. I dont know the guy. The whole point of my post was to voice my irritation about you constantly bashing other people's mods, not to praise Gencoide.

So if you don't like it, isn't the proper solution to not read it? What's the point of reading things that make you irritated?

"yeah, I'm gonna shoot myself in the foot, even though I don't like being shot."

"A rifle has destructive power comparable to that of a thermonuclear warhead."

They both kill people - therefore, they would be comparable.

I don't know the story on Genocide faking his death, so I won't pretend to. However, maybe he was trying to durm up support for his mods. A thread might have gone something like this:

"OMG Genocide is dead? What about all his great mods?"
"NOOOO RENEGADE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!"
"I know! Someone get an African Shaman quick to resurrect him!"
"I got a rate quote from Shamans "R" Us.. We need to pool $4,500 fast!"
"Ill design 4 websites dedicated to nothing but fans of Genocide's mods!"
"I'll throw in a thousand bucks for the shaman thing!"
"OMG LI3K U GUYS ARE S00 GULLIBLE! LOL U NOOBS!"
"Oh my god, he insulted our trys to get Genocide back! Someone get a hitman on him!"
"I'll spam his IP!"
"I'll make a virus to stop his CPU fan and melt his computer!"
"I've got 300 for the shaman!"
[Genocide]"Hey guys, I was just kidding about the whole "death" thing! Just pulling your leg a bit..."
"YES! THE SAVIOR!"

While I severely doubt this is how it went down, it could happen.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

No, I happened upon this little topic hoping to see come cool FOF banners. But what do I see? A (Crappy) edit of the current FOF banner with some mean text on it. Natrually, I voice my opinion.

I've admitted to being wrong many times. I don't care about your respect, I don't know you. All I know is you have the avatar of some fat kid.

It's not much of an edit. All I did was remove the text and add text. So you're saying the current Fisting of Ass banner sucks?

Voice your opinion all you want, just be prepared to go in circles since you can't seem to defend what you're saying.

Not really. I think Neo wins because I knew someone in high school who looked just like that avatar.

His name was James, but everyone called him "Ear Boy."

Big fat head, huge ears...
