YET...every piece of work i put out gets better and better as i learn more and more. you can't deny that. the blue wallpaper is kind of an exception...but the 3 that i have made today are lookin good.

True, now here's a challenge that will really help your skills: Try creating a wallpaper with 1 or less filters.

Yea, I agree with ape.
Using filters are easy to to...and it is obvious which filters were used, and it doesn't look great. Photoshop has many tools available for use...utilize them.
Actually I wouldn't say just stick to using only one and only one filter, but don't use too many.

That one kicks ass, no offense but other ones suck, try to not blur everything so much 
So far in the art showcase out of demin, shiz, me, z here is who i think has da skillz. (i dont mean to be cocky) but i do kinda think i am the best besides out of those 4, aprime is better than me but not by much anymore, madtone is a god and his skill p0wnz everyone in the forums.

seriously z, that crossfire one is nice...i follow tutorials all the time.
cow...i admit that you and everyone else is better than i am...but you guys also have to realize that i am producing this work after only 1 week in photoshop. i think they are decent for after only 1 week. don't even try to rank me...1 week is not enough to show you the full extent of my abilities.
