If they are kickbanned whenever they join the server they are kicked back out. I've never tried manually editing wolbanlist.txt, I *think* its only processed when the server loads (or loads a map?), so sticking a name into it does not equal an instant ban. Also I think you must restart the server after removing someone from wolbanlist.txt before they are unbanned (just doing an allow wont do it).

Personally I prefer seeing them re-kicked when they join after being banned...it lets me know if/when they try to come back, and provides some satisfaction/amusement Very Happy
