I am bored, and saw a topic similar to this on the DG forums. I thought it would be intresting to see a little comparison. Post what pop-up blocker you use, and if it has a counter, post a screenie of your current total count. I want to do this because I know many of you prefer Google Toolbar, and though I never liked it I want to see how efficient it is.

I use MyIE2 and haven't seen a pop-up since I installed it. I personally will be very suprised if anyone can beat my total count Wink

Yes it is. The free version has a small advertisement banner on the top right that can be customized to only show things you care about.

Paid version, which I have, doesn't have that.

My ZoneAarm firewall also block pop-ups, don't know how many it has blocked though. It works well enough for me.

Isn't the number of popups blocked directly related to the number of pr0nsites one has visited? Laughing Shocked

I accidentally went to one of those javascript window flood sites and racked up over 100,000 before I was able to shut down IE. Luckily it never popped up any windows, it just made IE hang trying to pop them all up.

So my current count is 111,155. Very Happy

Oh, and I use the Google toolbar. I literally won't use a web browser without it.

I'm the bawss.

The only issue there is that the Google toolbar doesn't take away the security problems in IE that Opera and other Internet browsers are immune to...
