Hi,
A little while ago i bought an audigy 2 ZS + 7.1 speakers.
The problem is that when im playing renegade, i can't hear myself shooting/repairing. I tried the newest patches, reinstalling renegade, different speaker setup (in renegade), but nothing works.
Does anybody have the same problem or can anybody help me, because playing without hearing my gun shoot is really annoying

I don't have an audigy, so take this advise with a pinch of salt.
Have you tried different speaker configurations in the Sound blaster setup?
Worst case try unplugging all but two speakers.
FYI I have had a 4.1 system working with Renegade so I know that you should be able to get at least that working.
