Ive helped ALOT of people setting up BRenBot on their servers and IRC.
For ALL of them !setnextmap / !maplist / !vote map / !vote kick etc etc DO work.

I had my FDS on my G:\Westwood\FDS\ at first and BRenBot was installed INSIDE the FDS dir in G:\Westwood\FDS\BRenBot\
Then these commands didnt work neither, i quadruple checked the brenbot config and stuff and make sure that this par and perlglob werent blocked by a firewall. Still dont work.

I even reinstalled the FDS on its default location C:\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\ etcetc same for BRenBot which is in C:\BRenBot\ now. ALL configs are correct to the right files and stuff.
Im probably cursed or something because im the ONLY one having problem with this. EVERYONE i know it works seemlessly. Its really bugging me. WTF IS going on lol????

I have the same, as do a couple of other people - I think it's something to do with Perlglob detecting maps etc. (on mine !maplist returns a blank, making !setnextmap and !vote map xxx not work Crying or Very Sad

)
Blazer knows about it I think and said he's look into it! Smile

what about the config file? Are you using the default one? Did you include \Data\file.ini in the path?

Everything is set the way its supposed to be, it seems almost as if im the only who has this problem. (along with a few others, but most dont have this problem somehow)

Its also very unlikely that its my firewall causing this because i disabled both of them (Zonealarm Pro and the windows internal one) temporarily, but this didnt fix the problem.
Could it be the name of the config file? I havent checked that yet, maybe it should be default name (srvcfg_cnc.ini) ?? (ill try that later)

had some probs when i reset the irc setings b4 the bot enteres but dunno if that w'll help
some times i have 2 do ALOT of !pi &gi be4 the bot response
dit u check the .ini file ?
name t again svrcfg_cnc.ini
