Aircraftkiller | E.g, Flame Tank becomes FTank, Stealth Tank becomes STank, not "stank" which is ghetto for "smells" otherwise used in a sentence: "BOY YOU BE STANK!"
|
Ok I have had enough of the Nod verses NOD posts, I can't let this one go.
If you are in game you have to use the shift key to type STank, you don't if you type stank.
Hence all in game abbreviations are lower case.

Here's one:
1 4M T3H L33T!
Translation: Secret code phrase hinting that the player who submitted the message is highly not smart. [Note: Aforementioned player is not necessarily not smart if he/she was using said phrase with high regards to sarcasm.]
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)
"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

GTA (in kick messages for tank thieves)
mobart
mrls (sometimes I just say "mrl" in real life)
wf
bar
ref
pp
nuke/ion
APC
Some are reruns, but those are the ones I use the most.
Sorry, ACK, but if I'm in the middle of the field and I see something that the team needs to know about, I'm not going to watch the shift key and I will use "hottie" instead of "hotwire".
I'm the bawss.

Aircraftkiller | Don't forget, most of that stuff can be typed within a second or two at the most... Negating the need for shortened versions of all but the longest names.
|
Let's see:
OMG stank rush inc defend AGT
Oh my god Stealth tank rush incoming, defend the Advanced (this is the point where you get run over by a stealth tank and can't send the message) Guard Tower.
ok... it may be a little far fetched but you see the point.

You mean you look down when you're typing? Maybe I'm in the minority but I watch the screen when I type and my fingers are placed "properly" on the keyboard so I can type as fast as possible without resorting to "omg stank rsh inc omg omg inc inc omg"
I have to keep my last finger on the shift key, anyway, because that's what I have mapped for crouching and lowering altitude.

$5 says I can type "STank" faster than you can type "stank."

Of course I don't look at the keyboard... haven't since 8th grade. Maybe I should have used the word "mind"... then you'd understand... or maybe "pay attention to my fucking usage of".
I'm the bawss.
