Well, all un servers will run pure mode when it comes out simply because skins/sounds e.t.c. *MAY* give somesort of an advantage... So inorder to avoid any possible scenario, I think servers should run PURE mode and add the [RGP] tag to the name so people know it is running rengaurd pure mode.

Westwood advertised for Blazer's C4 and Beacon Countdown mods, so it's safe to say that they are approved. Last I heard, pure mode will not block sound mods, only visual mods.

Approved by westwood doesn't mean it has to be approved by players, if it was that great it should have been included in one of the patches.
You have to agree, this gives people an advantage over people that don't have it, as you know exactly when to blow your c4, also its not like other people can hear the countdown.
Whats pure mode if it isn't "PURE"...I was under the impression that pure mode is the same why the game is as when you install it.
b.t.w. you can tell me that a sound that goes:
"STANK STANK STANK" loudly which replaces the stealth engine sound isn't cheating....
change soldier footsteps to lound thuds sounds, change sniper sounds, remvoe pistol silencer...
while people might say this is minimal, I still think people using modified sounds to detect where people are have an UNFAIR advantage. Pure mode should detect this and stop any modification that did not come with the game...

people i am truly sorry, but yall need to shut the fuck up, and pay more attention about fixing a game than kickin a fuckin cheater, yall guys fucked up, with lag, errors, missing texturs and all that, u think rengaurd gona make a difference, i know that rengaurd is for cheaters, but i usually see 2 cheaters in a month...
I payed 52 fucking canadian servers, and still to this date i lag like hell, there is no update for the enormous amount of errors and glitches, if we could concentrate on making the game better by fixing it, instead of bringing in some rengaurd shit, that hackers will get rid of it as soon as it comes out, like there is no impossilbe things for people out there hacking, for an instance, look at the final renegade shit, look at it, whoever made it, has access to the main frame of renegade, and whoever is that will make further hacks or whatever you call to get rid of the freaking rengaurd crap..
people please concentrate on fixing the game, such as mod makers please, if you guys concentrate on fixing the game it would be much better, this lag issue, there are so many things to be fixed!!
I am so sorry to swear, because just now westwood online was shut down!!!

Missing textures? Errors? Which missing textures and error? I am not aware of any missing textures, and the only errors are limitations of the game...

Lag can't be fixed without a complete rewrite of the multiplayer code, or by upgradeing your connection and computer, I recomend the second choice, much easer...| policepolice |

You have no idea what your talking about. The people who made the cheats didn't use no "main frame of renegade" whatever the hell that is. They used publicly released Mod Tools. Any 'hack' made and released for renegade would be the first, not a second or third. If anyone has actuly hacked renegade they have kept it private and not released it. Becuase the current cheat is nothing more then a Modifcation! And guess what, soon as a new cheat is released, RenGuard will find a way of fixing it! Won't you renguard  | policepolice |

I hardly ever experence Lag, and if I do, its just a ping spike, or a bad server. So maybe you need a better connection, or a better Connection, or maybe you need to stop whining?
