This is too funny. There is this page soliciting their program. It's using simple scripts to perform a "Security Test" on your computer. It tries to make you think that you are at risk...it's stupid little scripts that any beginning web designer can put on their sites. It even has your IP and OS and Location on there. Funny thing is, it only got my OS right. Where is Laguna Niguel, United States?

well...i guess it is to show that you are somewhat at risk if simple scripts can do that to you...but usually those are harmless scripts. But what really gets me is the location. How can you be so far off? That cd drive script is really annoying. It pops out my cd-rom drive. Doesn't seem like it would be a problem except for the fact that my tower has a door on it covering the power buttons and my drives.

No, its not a security leak. Its just something that can be done really easily with VBscript or something.
The sad part is that they are claiming that you are at risk if that happens and are making profit from it.

Amazing that things like this used to scare me. Ah well I break my computer by myself enough as it is. I doubt someone is gonna take the time to "Hack" me for god knows what reason. All the real hackers would steal credit numbers and such I assume rather than simply mess your computer up
