If I remember correctly, its always.dat as "tufguy1.wav" or something like that. Its one of the few that doesn't have a cryptic filename.

There if a "tuffguy1.wav" in always but that's not it. That's the one I was going to give him but he doesn't want the one from TD, he wants the one were in (I think level 5) intro havoc snipes a guy from a trans heli and says "real tough guy!"

Thanks guys, i really appreciate it, but do you know of any good sound editing programs so i can convert it to the proper format and reduce the background sounds in the .wav (the heli engine sound and music, etc)

ahhhh now i remember where i heard it!!!
you can hear the "real tuff guy" sound when your on a server and it shuts down while your in game!!!
if you get it there you don't hear any background noise like you would in the movies where you heard it!

No, it's a clean install?? My brother and I both hear the commando in tiberium dawn shouting 'retret' (i'll check my data folder for any abnormalitiys just incase)
I bought mine in the UK could this have something to do with it?
Edit: i extracted the wav but the section sounds awful, could you record the sound, please.

yes it might, does it have like dubbed voices for SP? also do you mean "retreat" or "retret", if so what is retret?

Ahhh thats how you spell it (dam french words, well i think it is??)
My brother and I both hear the commando in tiberium dawn shouting 'retreat' when you loose connection when a server is shut down.
Edit: Surely all Renegade's voices are dubbed??? as are most computer games???
