Hey, the name's Paul Statezny. I'm 16 and I've been working with digitally-created music for about 4 years running now. Previously, I've worked in the independent game developer business...which is really hard to get a kick start in. So I've decided to see if anyone wants background music for their in-development maps. I've only seen one map with bg music, (Carnage Club) so I know it's not a very popular thing to include.

Since I started 4 years ago, I've been constantly getting better, so if you listened to something I made 8 months ago, it'd be terrible compared to what I can do now. So here's the links to a few recent songs:

http://www.diamondshadow.gnuk.net/audio/legends/blasting6.mp3

The first is meant to loop, the others aren't. Here's an ambient track I made that would suit Ren pretty well:

Even if you're not sure you'll use my stuff, I'd enjoy a reply. Even if it's to bash the music

That sounds excellent. I'm sure we can find a use for you with the Renegade Alert development team.

Yeah that's some good stuff. If you would like to help my mod team out ( a mod for c&c generals : zero hour called "Tiberian Sun : Rising")
Were recreating Tiberian Sun using the Generals engine.

We are wanting to add new music to it as well as use some tiberian sun music, but if the new stuff is better there is no need for the old Wink

Our site has not been updated for a while (working on new site right now), and has a lot of old models, but we have been updating our forums.

Give us a look...

(haven't updated the forums recently but got a lot of goodies coming soon)

Even if you don't care to help us, I should like to speak with you on a instant messenger service:

Thanx

ACK: Would this be to include in the mod or in future maps? Please realize I know very little about the RenAlert mod. You can post here or e-mail me. (TeaAddict4Life@hotmail.com)

Deafwasp: It sounds good to use select songs from the Tiberian Sun soundtrack. I must admit, I use that soundtrack for inspiration with finding new ideas.
I would be interested in doing music for your mod, but it seems you've failed to mention something. (I did my homework on this one a bit)
The guy going by the alias Wolfie (Michal Bartnikowski) seems to already be working on music. I would also assume he's an 'official part of the team' since he has a high enough status in the cnc-source forums to be able to pin messages. Musicians in general HATE to have others working on the same project without knowing.
In fact, I don't know if I want to work on the project because Wolfie might feel I'm tramping on his territory, let alone the other way around. I don't mean to sound hostile, but you can't ask 2 people to do the same one-man job.
You can e-mail me when you find a solution to this one (if you do). I may post around on cnc source forums anyway.
