I hope there is one, but so far it looks bleak.

Command & Conquer is now just EA's brand name for RTS games.
Don't expect a Tiberian future.

Speaking as kindly as I can, Generals is a lame excuse for a soggy pile of flaming dog shit that EA is trying to pass off as a C&C game, so that they can distract C&C fans from their brainless lack of a conclusion to the series' original plot line.I'd rather they just let C&C retire in peace instead of ruining it with that mindless moose piss called Generals.
That said, the next game, if there is one, had better be Tiberian, and it had better not be as much of a damned pushover to beat as RA2 and YR were. As in, MORE than 12 pathetic levels, and a hard setting that is more challenging than flipping a light switch.
It won't be Westwood, so it will already be an uphill battle for their marketing team as far as my wallet is concerned.
"Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. Horrid mischief would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived of the use of them." - Thomas Paine
Remember, kids: illiteracy is cool. If you took the time to read this, you are clearly a loser who will never get laid. You've been warned.

i really hope new tiberian (if it ever comes) doesnt suck... but I mean I really think its going to suck though. EA is all about the cookie-cutter mass appeal games. Its too bad the industry has figured out the same thing movie producers have: you can just find an interesting topic (like comics for the movies, or WW2/War Tactical games for the computer) and just crank them out, sequal after sequal. Theres no risk involved, and the envelope for new ideas never gets pushed very far. I guess everyone's first concern is money, and thats why things are the way they are. Thank God for companies like Rockstar games.

Even if they (try to) make a real C&C, I will be very very cautious whether or not I buy it, knowing EA's reputation concerning games.

the reason EA makes the level so hard it that people get bored of them.
Here's the logic
If we make the levels challemnging, people will spend lots of their time playing them instead of goining out and buying othere [EA] games....
Lets make the levels piss-easy
How long did it take you to finish the "mind control the president"mission of RA2. My record is just under one minute thirty
