I must agree with Imortal.
Its foolish to say there are no cheats. Although your definition of cheats my vary, you all know there are the click bots/color aim bots, whatever.
The fact is CS has FAR more users than Renegade, and thus, a greater percentage of skilled programmers and others. And as the homo punk buster hard drive scanning program (work of the Nazis) makes the programmers of these programs unhappy, they will look into other games. As we all know (or won’t admit), WW/EA cant/wont do shit to stop cheats. And once a skilled person makes his way here, it’s going to be very easy for him to make one. But that might have already happened, who knows. If it does, its going to stay secret and very hard to get for a long time. Until about the time they become tired of the game and make it publicly available, and thus every lamer n00b will pick it up, just to show how good he is by using a program to get kills to satisfy their ego.
And we all know every one of WW's games has becomes plagued with cheats. I fail to see what makes one game so different than any other. No game is perfect, and is susceptible to cheats and hacks. And we know how far from perfect some of these games can be …

I'm sick of all this shit about no aimbots. Truth: there are two (known) that work for Renegade. One is dubbed "the clickbot". Someone a few posts back said "that it only had about 3% accuracy" how would he know? He downloaded and used it I'm thinking. Based on all the flames aimed (no pun intended) at the author of this topic, I'd guess if he said "I tried out the clickbot out of curiosity" you would all call him a loser? The other aimbot is a modified OCGHook 6 (originally for counterstrike and any direct3d or open gl game) Modified a little bit, this aimbot is just as potent as the 90% headshot rate one that is found in Counterstrike. Anyone who has some knowledge of c++ can edit the source of the OCGHook. You have to remove the weapon timings and implement your own from Renegade. you also have to rename the find_exe string and change it from %:/program%files/sierra/half-life/hl.exe and point it to the renegade executable. IF you get it right it will (in fullscreen mode) allow you alot of "cheats", examples are a nice 90% headshot rate (using some kind of modified models of the infantry which have "zones") and a few other ones I'm,to lazy to post. When I finish coding it correctly AGAIN (I deleted the first one accidentally, no backups either) I will decide if I want to release it. I might just release it to some key individuals to test out and see, so they can shut everyone up, but untill then I will have it. No need to worry until then, cause I dont play many ladder games unless I'm screwin' around with my friends... uh other than that, yeah you must suck at CS. I'm [AoA]Zer0, the one that won the tournament in November 1999 and then subsequently had my name enshrined in the HOC on Sierras website. Last time I looked on the AoA servers, i had a 99 win streak with 125 kills and 0 deaths. I was banned from almost every CS server for having "aimbot" even though I had PunkBuster running and never used an aimbot, well once I used a wall hack to see if they really worked. wow long post...ugh im tired.

Sir Phoenixx you should scroll through this tread looking only at your comments...
Regarding aimbots, think of it this way - (assuming you are a good sniper) - have you ever been so pwnd that you think the other guy has an aimbot? Not me (except on very laggy servers which explains itself). Even if some people that I play with do have bots and tuned them down (added less acuracy, slower aim speed) as to not be noticed, I still don't care cuz I can own them or have fun trying.
Anyways the Renegade community is quickly dying and I think all we need is some lamer to make a good bot then I'm sure the community will completely die. I think devious programers understand that.

I think the only reason that a good working aimbot + other hacks is not widely available for Renegade is the simple fact that the game is not that popular. Especially compared with something like Counter Strike. Which really we should count ourselves very, very lucky indeed or else we would have to put up with much more than aimbots me thinks.
Well to those coders out there who are interested in how games work and subsequently make hacks, cheats etc. I will not tell you not to make these but rather I would kindly ask that you please do not release them to anyone.
