i cant play renegade online from past few months. it worked fine before then. i have tried everything!! formatting drive, anti-virus, firewalls everything, but my connection breaks when playing online renegade Sad Sad Sad . my other games like call oif duty, quake 3 wolfenstein etc etc are superb at online gameplay and i get no lag at all!

so i will wait for renegade 2. but i dont think its coming out.

If it simply doesn't let you connect to WOL, search for a file HOST with no extensions. It should be in your windows directory, check the properties to make sure it's simple "file" with no extensions. Delete it. Then it should work.

my game conection breaks in a game..... but anyway i tried your method (deleted the HOSTS file) but it made no difference. any other suggestions would be appriciated.....

Lan cant affect your game, so you are on dialup, that is the reason, it is your connection with renegade engine, you must have ur ren set above 56k, so you are using up more bandwith and slowing ur net down.

So, Renegade 2 or Red Alert 2 mod is happening? Was it a secret or somthing? Anyway, it looks good. Is this by any chance RA2 Vegence?
