I NEED SOME HELP WITH RENEGADE [message #56470]

When I ran the 'RENEGADE PERFORMANCE ANALYZER', it seems that my laptop is 1162% better than the minimum requirements.

As you can see I have a P4 1.6GHz, 256MB RAM, and a crappy S3 Savage/MX video card. Also I have DirectX9 installed.

When ever I try to install Renegade, it shows the small clip in the beginning, up to the point where it shows all the HUD. After that, the screen goes back to my desktop. Could it be the video card that isn't allowing me to install it? If so, then how come the analyzer says I can?

As I am not much of a computer person, you may wish to check with others first, but when I ran into this probelm, it was due to old video card drivers installed on my computer.

I installed the latest drivers for my card and it worked perfectly. With the old drivers, I kept getting dumped to the desktop at the same place.
