Good job that looks good. But if I were you, i'd spend a little time on the textures. Make a good texture and it will do wonders for your rifle.

Otherwise, Good Work!

Looks awesome but I have to ask. Ive seen so many good weapon replacement models but I never use them because they have no muzzle flash

Does yours have muzzle flash?

The model is alright, but the skin could be replaced.

The parts that are actually drawn on and not copy/pasted from a picture of another weapon could use scratches, variations, metallic color, shadows, etc.

You should actually do the skin by hand, instead of taking half of it from a picture of a weapon. The parts highlighted in red and blue are defineately taken from the second picture. I am pretty sure that the magazine highlighted in green is a copy/paste of the magazine from the second image, just blown up (it has avery similar color).

Moderator Edit: This is your final warning, do not post with a quote when the post you're quoting is directly above yours. It is unnecessary and is spam.

i think weapon skins look better with real images because most people cant make there own skins in photoshop and real images are alot faster.

Using actual pictures of the weapons to create parts of the skin makes the skin look pixelated and grainy. Look at the magazine and how pixelated it is.

(And a person's inabillity to skin and the fact that copy and pasting is faster has nothing to do with how good it looks.)

Well its a bone. If you open something like w_rifle.w3d

there should be a bone in there called something like muzzle_0 or muzzleflash_0. Anyways it has muzzle in it. And just put that bone at the end of the barrel and it should be there.

Shocked That looks really good. As Havoc would say, "Keep 'em Coming!"

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

Seriously, if the gun you are talking about Havoc is the one you made for Tib Evo the msomeone should do it as a replacment.

May Trey rest in forever bliss and happiness.

SniperXL has it right. That weapon replacement looks almost exactly like an Objective Individual Combat Weapon (OICW), and the author of the weapon must have at least got some of his/her ideas from it. The right-side first person view reminds me of it in Soldier of Fortune 2.

It's a decent remake, though.
