I just leased a new dedicated Windows server with 1000GB of transfer monthly. It's the same provider who runs the FoDsvr01, so you know it's lag-free. I put a 32 player AOW server online yesterday. I'll have rules and a ladder on my site soon.

I'm also using some of the bandwidth to host an anonymous FTP kinda like http://ftp.westwood.com... except mine of course is at ftp.n00bstories.com. I don't have any files uploaded yet... Wanted to see what kind of interest there is first. Smile

How much does it cost to run a server like that? I've been interested in buying a server but probably won't until I know more about them and how to maintain the thing, and off course, have the money. I wouldn't know who was a good provided and who was. Confused
