Just wondering if Photoshop can be used for Skinning? If not, what would be the best program to use?

Photoshop is very good, but very expensive too.
I don't know if Painshop Pro or Photoshop is better, I think both Programms have ther advantage.
The Plugin works fine for both programms, so it is your own desicion.

I don't know, but that sounds like a really... dumb question to me... Maybe it's because I only use Photoshop...
Photoshop > Paint Shop Pro...
Photoshop is the best program to use for any image editing...
[sg | the0ne]What can photoshop do for skinning that Pain Shop Pro cant ?
|
Everything! Everything about Photoshop is alot more powerful/etc. then Paint Shop Pro.

Agent_Gibson | There is no question in the professional industry as to the necessity and quality of Photoshop. I proudly use it exclusively and many of you have seen the quality of work I have produced from pure digital painting with no sourcing whatsoever.
That being said, Paint Shop is a great option for those getting started in skinning and digital painting especially due to the prohibitive cost of Photoshop (I should know).
|
Yeah, the cost is a little steep. But i'm getting hooked up by one of my friends who owns Photoshop 7.
