Hi Everyone,

Just got some quick questions. How come when I am in a game and [tab] a couple times to see my overall rank, there isn't one but everyone else has one. I've played like 30 games. Also, before I sign-on to Westwood Games it shows that I'm ranked in the 4,xxx range.

Ladder? I'm guessing that is what determines whether or not you "get better or worse" ranking?
Is there anything new that will decide how to improve your rank.

The way it is suposed to work is if you are on the winning team at the end of a game, you get points, and if you are on the lossing team you lose points. The person with the most points is at the top of the ladder, and the person with the least is at the bottom.

And yes the ranking system doesn't work because EA most likely stopped supporting so don't worry if you have no rank. Rank is not really important at all although some think it is

Thank you everyone for your help. I've been playing Renegade online for awhile now, just never took the time to find out what was going on aside from shooting and repairing people. I hope the ladder thing comes back up, so I can compare myself to others.

P.S lol cmmartin Ferhago is right ignore them faggets they dont know shit and icesword is a pain in all our asses lol Razz

Just play and have fun i used to be like you and want ladder really bad but i now know it dont mean shit because some people are better than me *few lol* and are way lower ranked becasue they arnt on as much and others may be higher than me becasue all they do is point whore and they are higher even thoguh i could snipe there asses everytime. I just wish that it would keep kill death lol i got lots lots and lots more kills tahn deaths like flaunten it that all i care about not points so just have fun.
