Well I just started playing Renegade again after a haitus of a month or two... and within the first week I've been banned from 2 or 3 servers, which is just ludricrous. I've never really been a person who comes to these boards often... I usualy just read posts as a guest but never really put my 2 cents in, but here it goes... Simply put, things are getting way out of control with accusations of cheating and arbitrary banning.
So far I was banned from the FUD servers, for what I don't know (and yes I have read there rules at there website)... All I was doing was hauling some ass in an apache then boom I was banned. Was banned from another server for swearing i believe ( thats my fault though hehe). And just tonight I was continualy being kicked from one of the sniper only servers because i owned one of the mods hardcore... Shot him in the head a few times, and killed some other players with much ease (I'm a good sniper), and they scream that I cheat... so bam I'm banned again. Pisses me right off...
Has this community succumbed to the hordes of whiny twelve year old server mods who cannot get over the fact that other people are better than them? Who will be left to play this game when everyone has been banned hmmmm? Good job on killing this already suffering game...

I completely agree. I have been accused of cheating as well several times last week, on my bloody 56k modem!!! I really don't want to know what happens when I'll play Renegade with my newly-acquired ADSL connection :twisted:

Yes yes java... I've read the rules on your clans website, but thats why it's so confusing... I know the rules, and I make sure I don't break them, so I have no idea why I get banned. It's never a perma ban though. Usualy I get banned for a month or something like that. If I recall correctly, it states in your rules that sometimes people are evicted from a game to make room for FUD players, but I don't think that is why I get booted, because it happens to frequently.
Just pisses me off though, because I have no idea what I did wrong, and I really enjoy playing on the FUD servers...

hmmmmmmmm ok I just reread the FUD server rules... so this is a question for java.
Could I have mistakenly been evicted from the server because it looked like I was being a fatty? Because I am a very good apache and orca pilot and tend not to lose them while gaining a lot of points, thus giving me a phenomenal amount of credits, and possibly making me look like I was sitting in the base and hording them.
I think this could be a possibility because the last few temporary bans I have recieved have been when the map was city_flying, and I'm always killing something in an apache or orca.

No. You misunderstood the rule in it's totality. I'm not explaining or giving you, or anyone else a reason for being banned from our servers, because we do not owe you one. 
We have our own reasons, and if we want to share them with anyone, we'll do so of our own accord. 9/10ths of the people here don't like that policy, but we could really care less what their opinions of us are.
Remember, there is no such thing as an unjust ban on any FUD server, and no "mockingly" rhetoric conclusions that anyone makes about that change that truth.

I beg to differ on this point. The reason I was banned from the FUD servers was because I was "a gomer," which has been explained to me to mean "friends with Crimson."
FUD does not owe me an explanation, but at the same time, I don't owe FUD an explanation for writing the code which bans any and all FUD servers from using any of my Renegade utils: RenStat, FDSWeb, WOLSpy, RenRem32 and any future programs I make.
