My son deleted some files and screwed up my shared internet components. So I uninstalled renegade and reinstalled it. I used to load into a game in less than 30 seconds, now it takes about 2 to 3 minutes and by the time I load I have been kicked. Plus the games I can get into are horriblly choppy, wwconfig is showing the correct graphic driver. I have never had this problem before I reinstalled.
AMD 2000XP
512kb dual channel ram
64mb Nvida Gforce 4
Cable Modem
Some one please help. I am having Renegade withdraws and I need more n00bstory material.

Just to give a little more info. I had an upgrade done on my computer about three months ago, but was prior to my son deleting the files. I also play generals, but there is no difference in it. So whatever the problem is, it is only happening in Renegade. I might also add that it doesn't matter whether I am hosting a game on WOL, joining a server on WOL or even starting a multiplayer practice game outside of WOL. They all take about 2 to 3 minutes to load up now (again, prior to the reinstall it took less than 30 seconds). :crazy:

Look under device manager, is the video card reporting any problems?

No, but I have fixed the problem. I was going to get a new hard anyway, so I just got it a little early. Intalled in and loaded OS and games and everything is rocking now. I feel like a kid again, now I just need to find my dentures.
