that's quite an interesting article, he pretty much sums up my views of the US education system... but naturally I can't comment on any other country's education

lol since you're already reading on Rense maybe you should go read about how the Bolsheviks were funded by Americans - the USSR and America were two sides of the same coin my friend

Ah you'd be referring to the "mujahideen" - that's a creation of a certain Zbigniew Brzenzski, one of the biggest criminals in the world!

You're close, the official story was that the CIA began arming the "freedom fighters" (LMAO THIS DOESN'T SOUND FAMILIAR OR ANYTHING) in 1980 in response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan - however, a few years later Brzenzski admitted that the CIA actually began arming them in 1979 before the USSR invaded - the entire plan was literally designed to give the USSR its Vietnam war, and that's exactly what happened - the USSR didn't end the hostilities until 1989, and (as everyone knows) the USSR fell very shortly after that.

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a13_1240427874
Quote:

Brzezinski: Yes. According to the official version of history, CIA aid to the Mujahideen began during 1980, that is to say, after the Soviet army invaded Afghanistan, 24 Dec 1979. But the reality, secretly guarded until now, is completely otherwise: Indeed, it was July 3, 1979 that President Carter signed the first directive for secret aid to the opponents of the pro-Soviet regime in Kabul. And that very day, I wrote a note to the president in which I explained to him that in my opinion this aid was going to induce a Soviet military intervention.

Quote:

Q: When the Soviets justified their intervention by asserting that they intended to fight against a secret involvement of the United States in Afghanistan, people didn't believe them. However, there was a basis of truth. You don't regret anything today?

Brzezinski: Regret what? That secret operation was an excellent idea. It had the effect of drawing the Russians into the Afghan trap and you want me to regret it? The day that the Soviets officially crossed the border, I wrote to President Carter: We now have the opportunity of giving to the USSR its Vietnam war. Indeed, for almost 10 years, Moscow had to carry on a war unsupportable by the government, a conflict that brought about the demoralization and finally the breakup of the Soviet empire.

Q: And neither do you regret having supported the Islamic having given arms and advice to future terrorists?

Brzezinski: What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?

This is one of the most twisted men in the world. If you'd like to learn more about him just look up his books, he's written many books for his foreign policy students (i.e. the next leaders of the country) that pretty much openly explain the affairs of the world. I've only read part of the Grand Chessboard where he describes how the US controls the Eurasian (Europe - Asia) continent by encircling the continent with friendly/vassal states - Europe, Japan, the Middle East w/ Iraq and Israel (though Israel arguably influences America) currently, I would expect Syria will join that group soon if it isn't burned to the ground... also Vietnam in south Asia.

I just picked the liveleak article but they all say the same thing, he gave that interview to some newspaper in the late nineties I believe. Just google him lol, you'll unravel the story just by following his breadcrumb trail!

In regards to the USSR - just google "who funded the bolsheviks" and dig - you'll find out lol

EDIT: oh and by the way, the "freedom fighters" in Afghanistan are what became known as Al Qaeda

you gotta admit they did quite well with the term "anti-semetic" with its connotations, reminds me of "thoughtcrime" from 1984
