So I'm not sure if this is the right thread to be placing this in(if not could someone please move it for me, and let me know)

My question is that I have been attempting to download the scripts for some time, but my computer won't allow me to. No I have not downloaded any previous scripts before. These are my first

I go through the process of downloading the entire file, but when it comes time for me to choose a folder to download to, the recommended file is blank so I end up having to browse through my computer for an appropriate place for it

Though, I can't choose a file. I went through dozens of different types of files within different drivers and folders on my computer and it just won't allow me to save it there.

Here are my computer specs just in case it's relevant:

Asus desktop
Windows 7 Home Premium
64-Bit O.S.
4 GB Ram

If you need any other info just let me know

Hi, you are in the right place.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Do you get an error, are there no files to select, is a button grayed out, or something else? Perhaps you can clarify what you mean by "I can't choose a file" with a screenshot? You can try entering the path manually instead of browsing to it.

What web browser?
Problems downloading the file could be caused by the web browser.

If you're using The First Decade, this is the folder you want to install to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)\Renegade

I've never run Renegade by itself but I think it's:

C:\Program Files\Westwood/Renegade

This might be the solution to your problem as I had the greyed button issue.

I've noticed that if you start a client today that is still on build 6440, the one before the final one that it won't autoupdate and you have to install the initial 4.1 tt update again to get it to update 6482. This probably should be fixed. Have had it happen on several machines the past month that hadn't opened the game in a few months.

Just so everyon knows, this process worked for me.

But for future reference. I have Google chrome, and I have plenty of files to select. I am able to select very single file on my computer. The "next" button that I click to confirm the folder I am saving the file to is grayed out for every single folder I selected.

But thank you yesnomayb, for that folder you gave me worked
