i don't think i had Renegade in mind at all when i drew any of them
the Cockroach is essentially a roided-out version of the Tick Tank
the armor would be a shiny super dense metal, it would have dual cannons, and it would launch rockets out of the "shoulders", which is what i'm thinking you saw as arms
the Beast or Arachnid thing would be a 4-legged Titan with a crazy machine gun that's basically anti-infantry / AA, while the Goliath was like a rocket Titan
the Nod Scorpion thing looks like an actual scorpion, but the tail is a mobile Obelisk and the claws are the rocket launchers (and the very front has a flame thrower on it)
the little side scorpion "legs" were meant to divert rockets away like the ECM tank does in Generals (this was before they actually made Generals)
i also had another scorpion-looking thing that would have been like the ICBM (or the SCUD launcher that came out in Generals later on)
i hold on to the hope that someday EA will release the C&C franchise from its vile, unimaginative clutches and give it back to Petroglyph or a studio that could make a proper Tiberian Sun II game and bring everything back to life
