The health care system here... is no way better than private healthcare it's a crappy slow corrupt system here. before i go lemme say i'm not getting into blaming the system for people getting sick i'm just pointing out the corruption.
these are from experiences told to me by many different people over the years and my own experience here in Canada:
1. Its VERY slow, long waits for APTS. and ER even when there's no one in the ER it takes unusually long
2. The people working at hospitals etc. in our healthcare system are constantly busy with paperwork as if the paperwork is more important than helping sick people. it's almost as if the government purposely creates all this mandatory unnecessary paperwork etc. to slow down the health care system and it's ability to do it's important job(helping sick people...)
3. obviously no competition means no striving for better.. (just came to mind now obviously to anyone who knows the difference between a free society etc.blaw)
But yes our healthcare system in Canada is not striving it's stuck in the 1950's because of no competition... And probably many other reasons i just thought i'd weigh in to agree that the health care system here does suck as of... 1970's/80s?
You wouldn't know it at a young age here though... I was always told while growing up "Canadas so lucky free healthcare system etc.etc."
Annoying lies I say..

I love how people post bullshit without citing sources or proving any arguments, but I'm the one who has to disprove it all. AKA shifting the burden of proof. I need not prove my claim, you must prove it is false.

Its a success, maybe not a big one.

Stop discussing your favorite political hacks please, you have to understand that power corrupts and the corrupt seek power, and if voting actually made a significant difference, they wouldn't let you do it. Off course it's rather convenient when people think they are free because they got voting rights which allows them to choose between evil, evil and evil.
The US in the final stage of getting what has been coming for it since the start of the Vietnam war or even before that.
The reason it has been able to postpone it for so long is because it was once a great nation and it still has the global reserve currency, but it wont take much longer before significant changes come around and if you pay attention you can already see the signs.
Discussing who would be in a position to control the once so great nation of America better than Obama or other things closely related is really nothing more rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic. The chosen path to self destruction has been carved out way before baby Bush or Obama took office.
