This is the most probable situation. I have witnessed a great many things that would shake you to the core, and all have to do with this "Multiverse" theory.
Is there another Earth out there? Well, you'll see.

Shake me to the core? Wow.. sounds exiting! I want to hear about it! I have always been contemplating the excistance of the multiverse, mostly when I debate time travel, but if you've got experiances that relate to this, I would love to hear about them.
As for the existance of aliens, I'd say that some sort of life is out there, intelligent or not, carbon based or not, the universe is too big for something not to have developed.

No. It would take billions of years for a signal to reach them, than billions of years for their signal to get back to us.
Plus, there is an enormous chance that they would not beable to even decode our messages. They might be receiving our transmissions, but they would most likely not have the right machines to decode it to be of any use. The same thing for us, they might be sending messages using a method that we have no means to decode, they might be trying to contact other life in the universe, but we just don't know it.
Plus, they might not even be advanced enough to receive anything like transmissions.
